Contois Reynolds Stained Glass Creating a "Dragon Mirror"
Creating a work of stained glass art begins with the design. People frequently ask us "where do you get your ideas?" The truth is, inspiration comes from many sources - images seen when we are on a long drive, ideas from reading a book, sometimes a suggestion made by a client, or maybe just a captured daydream.

We have always loved mythological and fantasy motifs, especially medieval dragons.
After the original concept is drawn to the full size, a pattern is made, which is used to transfer the design to each of the individual glass pieces.
Glass colors and textures can be chosen from a wide range of choices, depending on what seems most appropriate for the design and/or customer request. |
